A love for creating
hand-made memories

It began with a simple hand filed knife as a gift for my daughter. I heat treated the knife using my BBQ burners and some vegetable oil, with a paracord grip. This quickly grew into this obsession that captured my spirit for crafting something from nothing. Soon, friends began to notice my work and found value in what I was doing.

Blade smithing has become one of my many passions along with cooking, designing, and woodworking. I love making all types of knives, but I have settled into the culinary styles, as well as the smaller hunting and fishing knives.

All of my work is done by hand, some by stock removal, some forged, but always by my hands. I make all my leather and wooden sheaths as well. As I grow as a knife maker, I am constantly adding to my bevy of tools. The most recent is the addition of a 25 ton press build. This tool will allow me to create the much sought after layered and patterned steels. Keep an eye out for those coming soon in September when the build is completed.

I am a person who needs to see and experience how something is done before grasping the technique, which is why the following people have been like digital mentors for me.

If you find what I am doing inspiring, please don’t hesitate to reach out and let me know what I can build for you. I am always looking for the next challenging project.
